Southgate Adelaide is a friendly, sociable but fiercely competitive men’s hockey club based in Southgate, sharing the facilities of the Walker Ground clubhouse on Waterfall Road for 100 years, with a home astroturf pitch at Fortismere School, Muswell Hill. 

We currently run two teams and will restart our third XI as soon as possible so we are looking for new players of all abilities and experience, including those new to the game (minimum age 13).  We have a strong ethos to develop our players so everyone can find their level even though the club is currently small.

If you are interested in playing (outfield or in goal) or indeed umpiring, please visit us, complete a form or email us.  Each year, we have a free open day session 12pm-2pm at Fortismere School N10 1NE, that all are welcome to and then socialise back at the clubhouse afterwards. That said, we are always happy to welcome new players during and between seasons.

If you are looking for a women’s club, please contact our affiliates Hendon and Mill Hill HC.  For juniors’ training (boys and girls aged 7 – 16), we normally offer a joint youth development programme North London Hockey; NLH is currently investigating new training opportunities.
