Match report. WGC 4 : 0 Adelaide 3s

We played a far better game than the result implies. The opposition were well organized and quick but they did not have an easy run as everyone played beyond expectations.

David played solidly in goal and learnt a lot. Gourab played exceptionally well and will become a very good player as he builds experience and skills. Nigel also showed great promise in his first match but was unfortunately limited later in the game with a muscle niggle.

We were lucky to have Mike Solomons playing for us as he made light of his long lay-off. He set a good example with his passing. We generally played well as a team and created a good three clear goalscoring chances, so the result could have looked different if they were put away.

Hence the result.
